Unisinos Graduates Web Portal
In order to strengthen the relationship with graduates from the Unisinos University (Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos), No Boss Technology launches in partnership with Núcleo Digital da Unisinos (University’s digital center), ASAV (*) Information Technology Management and Waycomm, the Unisinos Graduates Web Portal.
The project counts in its first phase with a space for disclosure of the benefits granted by the University and a space for each graduate to update their registration data, that may be outdated since the time they were students. Besides the data updating, the graduate can provide academic data about qualifications and training in other institutions and professional data.
The challenge in this project for No Boss Technology was the integration with the systems used by the College. In total, 13 communications were used for processes such as authentication, post location and data update.

- Integration with Educational Totvs: the major part of the integrations occur with the Totvs’ educational system . Those integrations, that count with data query and update, were possible to be done thanks to a partnership stablished with the ASAV Information Technology Management, that was responsable for the development of the communication routes.
- Integration with Microsoft Dynamics: the additional info provided in the web portal forms, that will work as the communication between the University and the graduate, are posted in the Microsoft Dynamics system.
- Testimonials: finishing the data update, it’s given to the graduate the opportunity to tell his experience at the University through a submission form. After the submission, the testimonial will be available to moderation in the admin area before being displayed on the main page of the web portal.
- Image Library: along with the testimonials submission form is used a library developed by No Boss Technology in wich the submitted image (in this case the graduate photo), passes through the follow process:
- Security verification on the image content in order to search and identify malicious code that may allow an attempt of invasion to the web portal.
- Image resizing according to parameterized settings in the admin area of the web portal.
- Availability of a link to preview the image before submitting the form.
- Accessibility: the project counts with advanced resources of accessibility, such as the high-contrast function that makes it easier for people with visual impairment to see.
- Responsive design: the web portal navigation can be performed properly by any type of device, such as mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.
